Welcome to North Hamilton's Library page!

"Library doors are a gateway to anywhere."

The mission of our library is to foster an intrinsic love of reading and learning, and to provide students with the skills necessary to be successful and ethical users of resources and technology in our information-rich world. In our library, students learn how to ask questions and locate materials for research, as well as for personal interest.

The curriculum of the library media class emphasizes literature appreciation, technology integration and information literacy. Library media activities are closely tied to the AASL Standards for the 21st Century Learner and Tennessee State standards.

Upcoming Events:
Our Fall Book Fair will be August 29-September 2! Family Night is Thursday, September 1st from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Come and support our school library!

Read 20 Probasco Readers program begins August 22nd! Students, don't forget to have your reading logs signed every night. Meeting your monthly reading goal in minutes helps you learn and it could help our school library receive funding for new books!

Missing Book Policy

The library does not charge fines for overdue books. However, we will request reimbursement for lost or damaged materials to cover the cost of replacement. Please remember that students must pay to replace lost or damaged books before they are allowed to check out another. The average cost of a hard-cover library book is $20
